HEADTEACHER
MESSAGE FROM THE HEADTEACHER
You will be aware, from the 'Dates for your Diary' section of the Buzz, that the school is closed to pupils on Monday 15th March for a TED which will concentrate on the moderation of our Year 11 pupils' coursework. Hence, it is important that all required coursework is submitted to the relevant teachers by the end of this week.
A new Year 8 pupil who lives on the main road in Kimbolton has recently joined us. At the moment he is finding transport to and from school to be quite difficult. If anyone would be interested in a lift-sharing arrangement could they please contact me?
At the start of the Summer term (Monday 19th April) our optional Summer uniform regulations will apply. This means that pupils may wear their House-coloured polo shirts instead of the shirt and tie. Please note that any pupils who choose to continue wearing the shirt and tie must ensure that the shirt has a top button and that the collar size is large enough for the top button to be done up, in order that the uniform is worn properly.
Looking forward to seeing as many people as possible at our Fashion Show on Thursday evening!

Tenbury High School Specialist Science & Mathematics College Extended School
Headteacher Mr S.Cooke
Stuart Cooke, Headteacher of Tenbury High School, said "We are delighted with the Inspectors' comments. They recognised and acknowledged the strengths and values of the school, taking into account the views of pupils, parents, members of the community and support agencies. We pride ourselves on being a caring, supportive, academically challenging and high performing school and the report summarises this perfectly."
Science and Mathematics Specialist Status.
You may remember that our OFSTED inspection was linked to the process of redesignation as a Science and Mathematics College. Rigorous performance criteria for exam success and community participation were set as part of the original specialist status plan.
I am very pleased to inform you that the school has exceeded these criteria and the DCSF has now confirmed our redesignation as a specialist Science and Mathematics College.
