Recently a group of Year 10 pupils have taken part in the Columbian Fruit Challenge 2010.

They produced a healthy drink and a cocktail using exotic fruit juice from Colombia and mixing it with local ingredients.

The group took their 'smoothie bike to Cafe 27 in Tenbury to allow visitors to mix their own smoothies by pedalling the bike! Here they were visited by the Assistant Director of Public Health Dr. Frances Howie, who had a go on the bike.

The group took part in the Final at the Three Counties Show and they were awarded First Place. They were presented with their award by Senor Fernando Alzate, Deputy Head of Commission from the Colombian Embassy.
